Hacker couldn't find any evil to do. He then suddenly heard on news that a device on Sensible Flats emits a green-colored gaseous substance. If a lifeform is subjected to this gas for three minutes, they will be "hackerized." The kids attempt to unplug the machine, as the victim will be permanently damaged if not removed from the gas. Matt, Jackie and Digit quickly succumb to the vapor as it appears that the inventor has configured the gas to affect organic lifeforms as well. Inez must figure a way to deactivate the machine before her friends and all the citizens of Sensible Flats are permanently "hackerized." Also, a teen named Ledge appears to help as well, but what is he really up to?
