―Dr. Marbles, "Trading Places"
The Electro-Root is a root found in a jungle cybersite, protected by gorillas. It may be able to cure the virus given to Motherboard.
In "Trading Places", Dr. Marbles tries to retrieve it, but eventually lets a gorilla borrow it due to the group's hospitality. The gorilla wears the root on his head. According to Marbles, the gorilla promised to return the Electro-Root upon Marbles' departure.
However, this exchange and any subsequent events are not shown. In "Harriet Hippo and the Mean Green", Inez states that they last saw the Electro-Root on a gorilla's head.
The antidote to the spell of the Mean Green requires two-fifths of an Electro-Root. Inez and Jackie go to retrieve this portion. Jackie takes the rest when the site is turned mean and green. Because the spell calls for a double dosage of the antidote, only one-fifth of the Electro-Root remains.
